Fun fact; most women over 70 don’t feel old.
I do believe that that is a testament to how valuable, knowledgeable, and strong you actually are.
As a woman who is part of the what’s next generation and seeking life beyond ambition, starting over or starting something new is never easy.
It takes time, patience, and most importantly, the willingness to see it through the highs and the lows.
Being bold and having the confidence to say I am going to launch the business, the product, or the service is the first step. Building and executing it is a whole different set of challenges.
And because of that, most of these highly creative, educated, and industrious women are putting their trust in others to carry out their dreams.
In this week’s episode of Get Your Shit Together, I am sharing with you the importance of tapping into your gut so that you can trust yourself before trusting others.
Learning to do the “thing” which can be as...
Do you remember the game, follow the leader?
I can almost see my 7-year-old self, marching in a line, following every move that the "leader" was telling me to do.
When I started to scale my business and add digital products, group experiences, and outside opportunities, I spent a lot of time listening and following those that have done it before me.
Because they had been financially successful( or so they say), I thought that they had all the answers. The truth is, I already had all the answers inside of me but didn't see them or have the confidence to believe them. It took me a while to follow my gut and when I did, that's when everything shifted.
I am privileged to be able to talk to lots of people who are either simply thinking about an idea, expanding what they already have, or starting from scratch and I have learned, that there is no one formula, blueprint, or recipe for how one gets to where they want to go.
In this week's podcast episode, I will...
Have you ever just made a decision to do something and then pulled the trigger and didn't look back?
I did that the other day. It felt soooooooo good!
It wasn't anything that I even contemplated. It was inspired by an observation in my business about a strategy that just wasn't working for me.
Building an online business and media company as a solopreneur isn't easy. It's like putting together one of those 5,000-piece jigsaw puzzles. It takes forever and a day and some days you spend hours sitting there, totally focused on completing a section of the puzzle, and other days you have the patience of a gnat.
I am sure you have experienced this; you try to shove those two pieces together even though you know in your heart they don't belong together.
Constructing your business and the life you want for yourself is no different.
So, the other day I decided to basically blow up and gut one of the strategies that took me the...
Did you know that there are less than 100 days (97 to be exact) left in 2022?
The question is, how are you going to make these next 97 days count?
I talk a lot about “the plan” and how to create a system around your daily, weekly, and monthly habits so that you can create a work-life balance. That, in my opinion, is the first place to start so that you can reach your dreams, hopes, wishes, and wants. But, I am not going to talk about that today.
What I really want to share with you is how so many women like you are starting businesses later in life. A.K.A. finding their purpose.
I actually hate speaking to “finding your purpose” because it has become so generic.
But the truth is, all the conversations I have, circle back to this. Just the other day I was taking a long beach walk with a friend (who has had a long and stellar career in advertising) and she’s just not feeling it anymore. Thus she’s...
