Why am I so passionate about this?
As a three-time cancer “warrior, I, unfortunately, know a thing or two about what it initially feels like to be diagnosed and then what strength it takes to go through everything else.
I am fortunate to have a fantastic community and family around me and knowing that I didn’t have to do it alone, helped me get through the complex parts.

Hi, I am Susan -
As a 7-year-old kid armed with an old cookbook...
and a burning desire to help others, I baked my first cake from scratch - by myself. And while most kids mess around with arts + crafts and make a mess in the kitchen, I actually sold my stuff and never stopped!
Empowered by that experience, feeding others became my love language. Because of that, I am utilizing one of my first loves, baking, and gifting to raise money for charities that I hold near and dear to my heart.
After being diagnosed with cancer, on three separate occasions (most recently a brain tumor), I am using my time (and my kitchen) to support The Cancer Cartel - a nonprofit that provides financial resources and relief to cancer warriors.
As we acknowledge Breast Cancer Awareness month, I am offering my Baker’s Choice cookie boxes as well as some of my e-books so that I can do my part and give back to the fight against cancer.
