Do You Have A Life Plan?

Do you have a life plan?

Do you even know what a life plan is?

Most people don’t!

You make dinner plans, vacation plans, a home remodel, even career plans. But when it comes to an actual life plan, not so much. As a result, you may find yourself repeating the same tasks over and over again which can cause confusion, disappointment and leave you feeling discouraged.

A few years back, when I was feeling defeated and discouraged, I found myself creating my first life plan. Reading books and listening to podcasts by business leaders, Donald Miller, Stephen Covey, Bredon Burchard, and Michael Hyatt helped me understand the importance of planning.

I had always made bucket lists and vision boards (a fun girls' night out), but once the activity was over, I never looked at them again. And I couldn't understand why I wasn't manifesting what I was putting out into the universe.

For me, those exercises didn't work and I needed to figure out why and then create a system that could work. It took some time but now I have a plan that works for me daily.

It comes down to planning, reviewing that list, and then figuring out how to execute and implement. It has kept me accountable(to myself), balanced, and less chaotic and reminds me what to focus on. My own personal results encouraged me to share this framework with my clients and the outcome has been impactful.

The Framework is broken down into 4 buckets:

1. End goal
2. Primary Action Plan
3. Milestones
4. Tasks

End-goal - What do you want to do, achieve, see and conquer in the next 2- 5 years?

Action plan - the macro view of what you want to accomplish over the next year.

Milestones - are the micro, actions that get you closer to something on your action plan.

Tasks are the small bites that you tackle monthly, weekly, and daily.

Picasso says it best. You cannot reach your destination or goal without the plan and the strategy to carry it out. If you want to learn more about this plan and how you can infuse it into your daily life, join me in my workshop, From Scattered to Efficient.

I will be waving my magic wand on your to-do list and teaching you how to go from SCATTERED to EFFICIENT! In our time together, I will be outlining 4 steps to help you prioritize your to-do list. This framework will elevate your creativity and your productivity.
